Chinese allegedly recruiting Pinay teenagers to prostitution

An operation held on January 28 found out that a Filipina teenager was tricked into prostitution with the primary objective of catering to Chinese and other foreigners.

To avoid being hunted by Beijing censors, there were codes as “new tea” for girls and “fast food” for quick sex whenever a customer is hoarding over the app WeChat.

Meanwhile, Senator Risa Hontiveros presented screenshots of several group chats pertaining to the actions of the illegal group.

According to Hontiveros, Russian or Korean women can earn P32,000 and P45,000 while Chinese women get P10,000 rate per hour.

Gathered witnesses presented statement that girls seldom go to condominiums and hotels, offering a massage and an extra service of sex.

The compensation of P3,000 and P7,000 from the Chinese nationals will be given to the alleged prostitutes, half will be returned to the massage parlor owner.

Through a thorough investigation, it has been found out that cases originated from offshore gaming operations called POGO (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators). Whereas, Chinese recruits Filipina teenagers to engage in said illegal sexual activities.

“Pinagamot naman po pero tumakas na po siya kasi hindi na po kaya. Kasi kahit po may sakit, nilalakad pa din po sa mga customer,” witness said, pertaining to the experience of the girls in the hands of Japanese, Korean, and Indian clients. What made the activity worse, there was 14-year-old Filipina.

Cases of illegal sexual recruitment can bring a huge threat to Filipinos, knowing that even those who are in minor ages have been exploited by Chinese nationals and other foreigners.
