The Department of Health has confirmed 10 new cases of the dreaded coronavirus as the country’s confirmed COVID-19 cases is now at 20.
Health Assistant Secretary Maria Rosario Vergeire says the new COVID-19 cases are from the samples collected from March 6-8.
The number of patients is expected to go bigger as several positive carriers were reported to have interaction with 468 individuals. Of the number, only 113 have been traced.
Of the 20 cases, half are Filipinos while the other half are foreign nationals.
