The Metro Manila Council’s policy works strongly on positive reinforcements to incentivize getting jabbed instead of discriminating against the unvaccinated.
MANILA — Local government units must hit their vaccination targets first before imposing new policies, says the council, which concurrently chaired by Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chief Benjamin Abalos Jr.
Meanwhile, interior and local government undersecretary Martin Diño has proposed that people should always bring their vaccination cards and even wear them on lanyards to make it easier to check a person’s vaccination status.
According to Mr Diño it would help avoid confusion and difficulties when people are out in public places. He added the public should wear the cards along with a face mask and a face shield. (TRC/Headline PH)
