Italy recently confirmed 52 people died due to COVID-19. The country now has more than 2,000 infected patients.
Civil protection agency on Sunday reported that 18 people died, including three from Emilia Romagna. Records show that all patients had serious pre-existing medical conditions.
The World Health Organization (WHO) expressed its concern regarding the spread of COVID-19 in countries outside China, specifically Italy, South Korea, Iran, and Japan.
In spite of being Europe’s most affected country by COVID-19, Italy reopened its tourist hotspots to visitors. However, the country has also limited access to avoid the further spread of the disease.
