COVID-19 testing in the Philippines might outpace that of South Korea in the coming weeks, according to appointed testing czar Vince Dizon, adding that the government eyes to conduct two million tests this month.
South Korea, as of July 25 ay nakapagtest ng 1.5 million.
South Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare website shows that it has completed 1,556,215 COVID-19 tests out of its 51 million population. The East Asian country also recorded a total of 14,269 positive cases with 13,132 recoveries and 300 deaths. Meanwhile, the Philippines has recorded 85,486 cases, 1,962 deaths, and 26,996 recoveries out of its 106 million population.
