Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain will conduct an address on the COVID-19 pandemic this Sunday.

The 93-year old monarch stressed the importance of finding ways to stay in touch with each other and keeping family members safe.

“You can be assured that my family and I stand ready to play our part,” she said.

Queen Elizabeth also said that annual garden parties and other events will be canceled.

For the queen and her 98-year old husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, their decision for Easter will be a week earlier than usual.

The United Kingdom has 38,168 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 3,605 fatalities since the pandemic started.
