Since the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has declared the official entry of the rainy season on 04 June, the country has been frequently visited by weather formations that have cooled the atmosphere around after the country experienced high heat index in May.
MANILA — Rains will continue over most parts of the country according to PAGASA because of the southwest monsoon.
Areas in Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, and Zambales may experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms as these areas are directly affected by the southwest monsoon, says PAGASA.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rains. Temperatures in Metro Manila may range between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius.
PAGASA advises residents to stay alert of rain-induced flash floods and landslides. (BG/Headline PH)
